Military bases in California

In California, there are more than 30 military bases and installations by U.S. Department of Defense, which are vital to the state and nation’s security. The military bases are Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Air Forces and also, Reserve and National Guards, Federally-funded Research and Development Centers.

There are three armed bases, seven Marine Corps bases, ten Navy Forces and seven Air Force bases. California also hosts other partners to strengthen U.S. National Security. New technologies like Remotely Piloted Vehicles were introduced, by the Aerospace companies. The diverse military bases network enables critical training and technology in the development of states’ and nation’s military from land, air, and sea ranges.

CALIFORNIA

It is located on the western coast of the United States of America, which is bordered by other states such as Oregon, Nevada, and Arizona and also with the international border of Baja California (Mexico). California is the most populous state in U.S. and known for its sub-tropical climate. The largest economy state of the U.S. endures in rich history backs from the gold rush to Hollywood and the Silicon Valley industries.

The Fort Irwin base, Monterey Presidio base, and Sierra Army Depot bases come under the Army bases. Marine Corps bases such as Air Ground Combat Center, Pendleton, Air Station Miramar and Santiago, etc. plays a vital role in Marine military bases.

Navy Forces include El Centro, Lemoore, Coronado, China Lake, Loma, etc. Air Force bases such as Beale base, Edwards’s base, L.A. Air Force Base, Travis Air Force Base, and other Reserve and National Guards in addition to research and development centers.

TOURISM AND PLACES

There are many tourists’ attractions in California to the adults and the kids from Disneyland to San Diego splendid beaches. The sites include the world famous San Diego Zoo, Fisherman’s Warf, Golden Gate Bridge, Palm Springs desert area, 43 Hills, Hollywood, Los Angeles, including the notorious Alcatraz, for the criminals. No matter where you stationed, there will be places for recreations to tour and things to do with many attractions, which are family-friendly.

There is a variety of tourists’ sights to see starts from the mountains to deserts, forests, beaches and others from one end of the state to the other. If you’re looking for the excitement you can surf in the Pacific Ocean or a wild ride for the thrill seekers on one of the world’s freeway systems in L.A. And for all-star watchers, there is Los Angeles, home of Hollywood or you can go on the rides at Disneyland.
